No Okinawan Love in Apple’s World Music Jam Pack

I must admit that I’ve been interested in Apple’s GarageBand software since its release several moons ago and I’ve had it installed in my ‘Book from the get-go. The new features in Version 3 (like the Podcast Radio Engineer) are enough for me to fire it up again and there are also four new Jam Packs but it’s the “World Music” one that interested me the most. Of course, a look on Apple’s site for the pack doesn’t go into much detail as to what instruments are included in the “collection of over 3,000 Apple Loops played by master musicians from nearly every corner of the globe” (emphasis on “nearly” is mine). Well, nifee to this special report from the iCompositions site, I know exactly what instruments are in the World Music Jam Pack and I must sadly report that there are no Okinawan instruments included with this release. Well, there’s always World Music Jam Pack 2, right? :D [Via The Unofficial Apple Weblog.]
